Hey Patrons,

A lot of you would have heard me talk about our annual Patreon class before either on livestreams or here on zoom but we have a lot of new faces on this page and a lot of you haven’t attended before so I thought I would explain what the class is and how it all began.

Back in 2018 one of our Patrons, Susan (aka Mama Bear), reached out to me directly for some private training. We had set up a 3 day course for her and booked it for 12 months later as she was going to be flying in from Australia which, along with private training, is not a cheap flight! Fast forward to early 2019 and Susan’s budget for her training trip was pretty small. Not wanting to cancel training all together she reached out to me again to see if we could perhaps open the private class to a few more people to help lower the costs, but as a first time shooter and new to all the tactical and survival training she was too intimidated to train with the general public and floated the idea of me opening it to just our patreon group, many of whom she had spoken to via livestreams etc in the 12 months prior. I LOVED the idea! And so the Patreon exclusive class was born!!!

In 2019 we held our first class at Rockcastle Shooting Center and with Susan’s dream training schedule in mind we put together 3 days of half day classes designed to give her a taste of an assortment of different components to survival and preparedness training. It included medical, HRT, escapology, knife fighting and of course shooting. The idea being then people could book more specific full classes in future around the things they enjoyed or wanted more training in.

The class, while small (only 15 people) was a huge success, in fact to this day it remains one of my favorite classes of all time. Everyone in our group got along great. We trained all day and drank all night, ate meals together, shared stories around the camp fire and of course had a lot of laughs. A lot of friendships were made and to this day a lot of those patrons still keep in touch not only with me but with each other. Everyone wanted me to do it again and I agreed to make it an annual event... and additionally we added an extra day as there was just too much to jam in!!

So that brings us to today. We are happy to announce we have just locked in our 6th annual Patreon class!

Patreon Class of 2024 bookings are now officially open!

Due to popular demand we have secured the General Butler State Park in Kentucky again for this years event.

Located at 1608 KY-227, Carrollton KY the state park is set on 791 acres of beautiful land which include lakes, hiking trails, a swimming pool, cottages and lodge rooms as well as camp sites and so we will be able to conduct almost all of our activities on one site.

While the final training schedule and instructor list is not locked it, like our very first class and every year, it will include a mix of shooting, medical, land nav and other goodness but remember these aren’t extensive regular classes – they are brief, slower paced classes designed to give you just a taste of the subject but will build on previous classes if you have attended before. This whole event is designed more as a social gathering and of fellowship rather than hard core training. You’ll pick up a lot of great skills and tips but I promise you’ll get just as much, if not more, out of sitting around the fire sharing stories with the instructors and other patrons than you will out of the classes.

Classes will be from Monday 14th of October to Thursday 17thof October inclusive (you’ll want to check in the night of the 13thand check out the morning of 18th)

Price of the event is $1350 plus accommodation and meals. On site accommodation available (and highly recommended so we are all together) and will range in price depending on the option selected. Buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room this year. They also have camp sites and RV sites available if required.
