This course is designed for shooters who want to master tactical shooting with a lever-action rifle. Training will focus mainly on manipulation of the lever-gun at “Close Quarters Battle” distances of 50 meters and within. Max Range will be 200 meters. Drills will include accuracy, speed, reloading, transitions to pistol, use of cover, and alternate firing positions. Whether it is a person with a lever-gun passion or a civilian training for home/property defense that lives where more modern carbines are forbidden; this course will enlighten all skill levels with hard-learned techniques that bring this time-proven firearm back to the modern spotlight. Attendees are encouraged to attend the “Combat Pistol” course, conducted day prior, if they want to brush up their marksmanship skills before this specialty course.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Eye and Ear protection
Serviceable Lever-action Rifle (pistol or rifle caliber)
Tactical Sling
200rds of Lever-gun ammo (no Steel Core)
Side Saddle or Pouch for rapid access to rifle ammo (Butt Cuff or Belt Cuff)
Serviceable pistol of at least 9mm caliber
Minimum of 3 serviceable magazines
Minimum of 1 double magazine pouch
Serviceable outside the waistband holster
50 rounds of pistol ammunition
Class starts at 0800hrs in the classroom. More class details will be emailed to attending students prior to course.
